Breastfeeding Peer Support Groups are available in the following areas within the Wakefield District.

Most of the groups you will find of local mums who have breastfed their own babies and have been trained to support you with your breastfeeding.

No appointment is necessary! Please feel free to drop into any of the groups  below if you are pregnant or a breastfeeding mum. We know that sometimes breastfeeding can be difficult, but we also know that most breastfeeding problems can be solved and we are here to offer help, support and guidance whilst you and your baby are getting to know each other.

And even if you're not having any problems please stop by for a chat and a drink, it is always nice to meet other breastfeeding mums!!

Some of the groups offer a FREE Bra fitting service and nursing bras for sale at discounted prices!

Please note: The drop in session at the Cedars Childrens Center Hemsworth has changed.  As from 6th October the session will run from 1.30-3pm on a Monday afternoon to co-inside with the midwives drop in session. There is no session on 26th or 29th September.
